Rio Gallegos Argentina - Nov 2024

We brought 102 people from the Rio Gallegos region of southern Argentina to the Buenos Aires temple. It would have been a 76 hour bus ride one way for these saints to get to the temple. Through our generous donations from people all over the world, Sweetwater Rescue was able to fly all of these saints on a 3 hour flight to attend the temple for one week in 2 groups. Families were sealed and first time members to the temple were able to do their own temple work. We had 42 youth who came with us on this amazing trip. Nearly all of them had never done baptisms for the dead before and their only experience had been their own baptisms. One of our Priests did over 500 baptisms as the baptizer. We were able to help 4 missionaries prepare for missions and outfitted them with all the things they would need to enter the MTC.
